These guys are seriously the best. You can clearly see they’ve done it a million times before. They have equipment worthy of building a highway but a smaller version for a driveway. My 2x2 cars driveway had several cracked areas from tree roots and weather. I was initially planning to just get someone to cut and patch but after talking to them decided to get it cut and resurfaced with a 2”-2.5” blacktop instead. I was very impressed by the quality of work done by the Cooper and Sons crew. The crew was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. The crew came back the next morning after completing the job to redo some of it as they were not completely satisfied with how it originally came out. I really appreciated that they went out of their way to do the job right. I am very happy with how the driveway came out and will be using Cooper and Sons the next time we need to have the driveway resealed. i’m not a review type of person, but in this case it’s warranted. after putting off redoing my driveway for years more because you just don’t wanna pull the trigger secondly, because I couldn’t find somebody I can trust.  they all seem to have a story to tell, but after meeting up with Lenny from Cooper and son, I clearly found my guy. Cooper and Sons Paving completed our driveway project yesterday, and we are absolutely thrilled with the end result! Our main reason for redoing the driveway was that we wanted to add a parking pad so we could finally stop doing the constant car shuffle whenever someone needed to get in or out. Our existing driveway was concrete and cracked in several places, and it was lined with an outdated brick wall that had become a hazard because it was so easy to hit with our cars. We decided to have everything torn out and replaced with a new asphalt driveway and extended parking area. We also had a concrete walkway that needed to be whitewashed, which they took care of as part of the project. We had gotten quotes from several companies, and Cooper and Sons was actually the last one we met with. As soon as we met Howard, we knew this was the company we wanted to work with. He was kind, helpful, and never once made us feel pressured. Every interaction with him throughout the process was great. When our township gave us a hard time about the permit, he even came back out to help us re-measure everything. He was always easy to reach by phone, and we never had to chase him down for answers. Once the work began, we were just as impressed with the entire crew. They worked like a well-oiled machine and seemed to have everything timed perfectly. Everyone was professional and polite, they showed up when they said they would, and they even finished the job a little earlier than expected. It was also really nice to see that Cooper and Sons is truly a family-owned, multi-generational company. Many of the people working on our project were family members, and after watching them work, it was easy to understand why they have so many great reviews. They clearly take pride in what they do and care about the experience their customers have. In the almost 13 years we've lived in our house, we've worked with a lot of service companies and contractors, and nearly every project has had some kind of issue along the way. Because this was such a big project, we were worried about how it would go regardless of who we hired. This experience was completely different. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end, and we couldn't be happier with our new driveway. Howard called the same day came the next day with an estimate and came when I asked him to redo my driveway. 2 years ago I fell victim to a solicitation for a driveway replacement and what a bad job that was. This year 2024, I decided to replaced it and was looking for a good local reputable company I can trust and hire to redo my bad driveway. I was so happy that I found Cooper & Sons Paving. Howard stopped by and assessed the situation and gave me a good price within my budget. Today, 10/18/24 was the replacement. The entire Cooper team was respectful, thorough, hard working, and didn't rush their work. They paid attention to small detail and made proper adjustments. Cooper and Sons did an excellent job resurfacing our driveway. Howard was professional and the team showed high attention to detail (see clean lines where the new asphalt meets the paver walkway, lawn and garage). They scraped the old surface and completely replaced several problem spots (with keep cracks) and also the old asphalt along where the driveway meets the sidewalk, garage and paver walkway. They put down new asphalt over the entire driveway over the old surface. They put in a neat beveled edge all along the sides of the driveway. They came with a crew of ten workers and like five vehicles, and Howard and his brother Lenny the owners were also on site working. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! they are VERY NICE, reasonable, professional, prompt & NEAT..LOL. that's always important to me as I'm a senior citizen with compromised health, I do NOT need more to clean up. I contacted Lenny about enlarging and repaving my driveway, the entire process was awesome. I got several estimates and Lenny showed up early, was friendly, engaging, and worked with me on price. I asked a million questions and he answered every one fully and patiently. The work they did was perfect and their attention to detail was meticulous. Let me first start by saying I am very happy with my new driveway. I had a 20'x65' driveway removed and replaced, along with the removal and replacement of 28' of sidewalk and a 20'x5' apron. The concrete was to be 6" thick and 4500 psi. I also had the driveway lined with Belgium block in 6" of concrete with a 2" lip to marry up to the blacktop. The work was perfect.  When they left, they picked up all the debris and power swept the street. Over the years, I have had interactions with three other contractors. None of them came close to the professionalism and quality of work of Cooper and Sons Paving. Before signing a contract with Cooper,  I checked for online complaints. I couldn't find any. I spoke with parallel companies such as Driveway Sealing companies and Paver contractors.  I told them the names of the companies I had gotten quotes. I got negative responses for about three of the four. I was told that I should literally run from one of those three.  The contractor was that bad. But none of those people had anything bad to say about Cooper. I was very specific about what I wanted. Leonard Cooper said I would be happy with their work and I am. My driveway asphalt replacement was not a trivial project. It was flat level driveway which means water couldn’t go away. I always had puddle of water on my driveway after running. A completely new driveway was needed. Reached out to multiple companies in the past and had no success with any of them just returning my call. Came across Cooper and Sons and decided to call, hoping that, just maybe, I’d get a response. Howie returned my call, came out to assess the job and explained the process in its entirety with an estimate. After contemplating whether or not to proceed, I contacted Howie to let him know that it was a “go”. His brother, Lenny, stopped by with the contract. He reiterated the process and reassured the decision. Throughout the process, Howie, Lenny and their entire crew, showed up when they said they would, took pride in their work and respected the property. We had a great experience with Cooper and Sons Paving. Howard came to our house to do an estimate the same day I called. Living in a townhouse, I have had some contractors not even call me back since they consider it too small of a job. The job was scheduled a few weeks out, not months out as I was expecting. On the day of the job, an entire crew with heavy equipment arrived, not just one or two guys. The crew was a finely tuned machine and both Howard and Leonard were there doing the actual work too. I made an appointment with cooper and sons paving to get an estimate for having my driveway repaved a week ago. Howard came over later that day and after speaking with me and looking at the driveway suggested what would be the best approach. Howard gave me a very fair/good price per square foot and with all the good reviews they have I decided to go with them. The crew (including howard and his brother lenny) arrived 815am this morning and by 1115am the entire job was finished. The driveway and the front area of my property that I had repaved looks great. MY wife is very happy. Everyone was very polite, and very professional and took care to clean up the site after work was completed. So we decided to skip the BS and contacted Cooper & Son's for an estimate.  Lenny showed up timely & presented himself very professional to where I was pretty much instantly sold! My husband called 5 aphalt paving companies. Cooper and Sons was the only company that returned our call. Howard made an appointment with my husband on May 3 and provided an estimate to repair alligater cracks and a few depressions in our asphalt driveway that was in fair condition. Howard and his crew came the following Monday, repaired the cracks, depressions and re-surfaced our entire driveway in around 3 hours time. They did an excellent job and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Very professional and pricing seems reasonable. Hopefully the repairs and re-surfacing will last. Leonard, who is one of the owners, was very responsive, provided sound design advice, provided a reasonable price and produced a straightforward estimate/contract. In terms of the work Leonard and his crew showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. Lenny was very knowledgeable and very personable.  He showed up on time and I liked that he had family working with him. They did a great job on my driveway and they cleaned up after themselves. Lenny promptly answered and provided me an estimate. I knew he was the right person for the job based on the plethora of positive reviews and his detailed explanation of the work he would perform. The contract was signed that day and a date scheduled. He communicated well in advance when he needed to alter that date. As promised he, his brother and his crew showed up early and got to work on breaking up the concrete. Hours later my driveway was transformed into a beautiful driveway. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Cooper and Sons. Truly he comprehends that the customers are the lifeblood to their business. Lenny I thank you and the crew for your professionalism and quality of work. You’ll be around for years to come. They were great! It's been over a month and there have been no issues at all! They were very nice and reasonably priced. They showed up on time and everything was done in the same day. I contacted Cooper and Sons via their website after reading the positive Google reviews.  Howard came out to measure within 2 days.  We were thinking we needed to rip out and replace the entire driveway, but Howard suggested resurfacing, at about half the cost and time. I needed a Resurfacing job done on my driveway. Cooper and Sons did a wonderful job. All my concerns were stated at the original estimate. When it was time to perform the job, all those concerns were expertly dealt with, without me having to remind them. Everyone on the crew were extremely nice and pleasant.
